Hello, I am Rozsa G. Ferencz, and I’ve been teaching Hungarian as a second language at this school since 2002. I graduated at ELTE University in Budapest in 1975 with a teacher’s degree in Hungarian language and literature as well as English language and literature. I started my carreer teaching Hungarian at an institute in Budapest, where students from different countries spent one year preparing for the university. At that time there were no English language degree programs at Hungarian universities. Later I continued as a free lancing teacher at different foreign companies and embassies in Budapest teaching small groups and also one-to-one. I joined a language school for a couple of years, too. Between 2002 and 2009, I worked with the Budapest University of Technology and Economics as the head of the Registration Office at the International Education Center. At the same time I worked at BME Secondary School, too.

I’ve visited Great Britain twice and spent six month in the US and lived in Finland for five years with my family.

I enjoy teaching my native language, and believe me, it IS possible to learn it.
