Links and Deadlines for Higher Education
Finding the right school involves thinking about what you want to study, where you want to study, and how much you can afford. The links here are useful in answering those questions but none of these are an exhaustive list of schools as they list mostly state schools. Nor is this an exhaustive list of countries. Scandinavia is also affordable and popular but each country has its own requirements. Switzerland is great for hospitality schools and there are great private business schools throughout Europe. It is really up to you. If you are interested in Hungary, please contact Mrs. MacLean.
This year is tough as there are many changes in course offerings, deadlines, finance, and entrance rigour.
If you are Hungarian and would like to study in the USA, the best kept secret is the Klein scholarship at Sewannee (https://www.iie.org/Programs/Klein-Family-Scholarship), but there are good opportunities for many scholarships.
Be sure to check testing requirements Scandinavia, USA, and Great Britain all many have tests which can help with acceptance.
Do not forget CAS and being involved.

Prices Guide
Each city is individual and all countries have a price of living or housing opportunities but in general:
European Union School have low tuitions
UK and USA have high tuition
USA, if school is chosen well, have great scholarships
UK also offers scholarships
Exams
Different countries and programs have different exam requirements. Register/check for these at the latest at the end of the first year of the IB. Though many schools do not require these, a great score is a ticket to a great school - in particular the USA with SAT 2.
